Postcrossing monday

This week I have three postcards to show you.

This card comes from Natalia from Russia. Wiborg is a town near Finland.

 Natalia congratulates me on the Olympic speed skating. Special Sven Kramer.

The next card comes from Marijn from Utrecht, Netherlands.

 Marijn is a freelance journalist.

And finally a card from Marga from Dordrecht, Netherlands.

 Marga is a member of  "Friends of the Dordrechts Museum".

 But her favorite museum is the House of Van Gijn in Dordrecht.

 She wishes me great pleasure to sniff at flea markets!

Postcrossing maandag

Deze week heb ik drie ansichtkaarten om je te laten zien.

Een kaartje komt van Natalia uit Rusland. Wiborg is een stad vlakbij Finland.

 Natalia feliciteert me met het Olympisch schaatsteam. Speciaal Sven Kramer.

Het volgende kaartje komt van Marijn uit Utrecht, Nederland.

 Marijn is freelance journalist.

En als laatste een kaartje van Marga uit Dordrecht, Nederland.

 Marga is lid van de Vrienden van het Dordrechts Museum.

 Maar haar lievelingsmuseum is het Huis van Gijn in Dordrecht.

 Zij wenst mij veel plezier met snuffelen op vlooienmarkten!

This week again some cards sent. These five cards went to the Netherlands,

 Germany, Russia, USA and Hong Kong.

Deze week ook weer wat kaarten verstuurd. De vijf kaarten gingen naar Nederland, Duitsland, Rusland, USA en Hong Kong.

Empty nest

As I mentioned earlier, our youngest son  left the nest this month.

Now my son is currently has no stove yet,

so he does eat almost every night at home with us. 

That's nice and we can gradually reduce contact. 

In my mind  I'm still thinking about it more than I thought,

 because last night I dreamed that I was having a baby girl. 

(Well, that would no longer be in accordance with nature,

 unless I go to some Italian doctor!) 

The baby looked very much like my youngest when he was a baby. 

After more than 29 years again the two of us in our house. He

photographs a lot and goes often out to take photos.

 I'm picking up my hobbies again.

 And we have promised ourselves to go out more.

Leeg nest

Zoals ik al eerder vertelde heeft onze jongste zoon deze maand het nest verlaten.

Nu heeft mijn zoon op dit moment nog geen gasfornuis,

 dus hij komt nog bijna iedere avond thuis eten.

 Dat is wel prettig zo en kunnen we langzaamaan  afbouwen.

In gedachten ben ik er denk ik toch meer mee bezig dan ik dacht,

 want afgelopen nacht droomde ik dat ik een dochtertje kreeg.

 (Nou zou dat helemaal niet meer kunnen volgens de natuur,

 tenzij ik naar een of andere Italiaanse dokter ga!) 

Het dochtertje leek ontzettend veel op mijn jongste toen hij een baby was.

Na ruim 29 jaar zijn man en ik dus weer met z'n tweetjes in ons huis.

 Het is wel even wennen, nu we samen weer in een ander  ritme moeten komen.

 Hij fotografeert veel en gaat daar vaak voor op stap. 

Ik ga mijn hobby's weer oppakken. 

En we hebben ons voorgenomen om er  samen ook weer meer op uit te gaan. 

(Double) Postcrossing Monday

Today a double Postcrossing Monday .

 I was so busy last week with the relocation of our youngest son,

 who is last to leave the nest !

Therefore thus a double dose postcrossing cards .

I received 8 cards in this fortnight.

A card from Arina from Russia of the Olympic Stadium in Sochi .

 She wrote this card during her lesson Literature. 

And participates in a dance competition.

A card of Tiffany in the U.S.A. of the Water Tower in Chicago.

A cute card from Finland .

 In Finland there until now very little snow has fallen .

 Just as in the Netherlands, an extremely mild winter !

 From a wet and windy England this card from Sandy.  

 The front cover of a well known book .

Marine from France sends a card of the pearls from the sea.

 She likes to be awaken by her cats in the morning .

Another card from England .

 From Margeret . Faversham in Kent has an annual hop festival .

A card from Czech Irena .

 Irena loves music and playing guitar and flute .

And finally, my favorite of the last few days , this card from Jeanne from Tilburg , Netherlands .

 She made this card herself . I think it's fantastic. She sells these cards under the name Sjoen via www.metdehand.nl  . She makes these cards from clippings . Each card is unique .

 I myself have only three cards sent in the past 14 days,

 but now my son's apartment is ready and he is drawn into it

 I get some more time to be busy with my hobbies. (I hope)

Vandaag een dubbele postcrossing maandag.

 Ik had het vorige week zo druk met de verhuizing van onze jongste zoon,

 de laatste die het nest verlaat!

Daarom dus een dubbele dosis postcrossing kaarten.

Ik ontving 8 kaarten in deze veertien dagen.

Een kaart van Arina uit Rusland van het Olympisch Stadion in Sochi.

Zij schreef deze kaart tijdens haar les Literatuur.

 En doet mee aan  een danscompetitie.

Een kaart van Tiffany uit de U.S.A. van de Water toren in Chicago.

Een schattig kaartje uit Finland.

Ook in Finland is er tot nu nog erg weinig sneeuw gevallen.

 Net zoals in Nederland een extreem zachte winter!

Uit een nat en winderig Engeland een kaart van Sandy van de voorkant van een boek.

Van Marine uit Frankrijk een kaart van de parels uit de zee.

 Zij houdt ervan dat haar katten haar s morgens wakker maken. 

Nog een kaartje uit Engeland. Van Margaret.

 In Faversham in Kent is er elk jaar een hop festival.

Een kaartje uit Tsjechie van Irena. 

Irena houd van muziek en speelt gitaar en fluit.

En tenslotte mijn favoriet van de afgelopen dagen,

 de kaart van Jeanne uit Tilburg, Nederland.

 Zij maakte deze kaart zelf. Ik vind hem fantastisch.

  Zij maakt deze kaarten van knipsels. Elke kaart is uniek . 

Zo dit waren weer de kaarten die ik ontvangen heb.

 Ik heb zelf maar drie kaarten verstuurd in de afgelopen 14 dagen,

 maar nu mijn zoon z'n appartementje klaar is

 en hij erin is getrokken krijg ik weer wat meer tijd

 om met mijn hobby's bezig te zijn. (hoop ik)

Postcrossing monday - Happy Mailbox

 This week I received two postcards. 

From Poland, Jacob, a student.

 He was so kind to send me a second postcard,

because the first one  is already 130 days on the go,

 and I still have not received it.

 Jacob has an almost illegible handwriting.

 I emailed him to ask him if he is studying to become a doctor. 

And yes, it was true.  His handwriting fits in completely.

Jacob already congratulated me on my birthday (yesterday was my birthday). 

I also received a sweet card Jeanneke from Helmond, Netherlands.

 She also congratulated me with my birthday. Very thoughtful!

Deze week twee ansichtkaartjes ontvangen.

Een kaart uit Polen, van Jacob, een student. Hij was zo lief om een tweede kaartje te sturen.

 Omdat de eerste al 130 dagen onderweg is en ik heb hem nog steeds niet heb ontvangen.

 Jacob heeft een bijna onleesbaar handschrift. 

Ik mailde hem om te vragen om hij soms voor dokter studeert.

 En ja hoor, het was nog waar ook. Het handschrift past daar helemaal bij.

Jacob feliciteerde mij alvast met mijn verjaardag (gisteren was het mijn verjaardag).

Verder ontving ik een lief kaartje van Jeanneke uit Helmond, Nederland.

 Ook zij feliciteerde mij alvast. Leuk als Postcrossers daar ook op letten!

This week's Happy Mailbox!! 

 Wang Yuwei from China is 14 years,

 and has sent me this cute card. It is a card of the Beijing Opera. 

 This postcard is of the Taipei 101 in Taiwan.

 The 2nd tallest building in the world. 

Linching writes that she loves snailmailing and sending packages to her penpals.

 She also loves to travel and loves Europe. 

 From Svitlana, Ukraine, this cute (artist Julia Pilipchatina)

 in my favorite color. 

 Cynthia from China sends this card of Guilin landscape.

East or West, Guilin landscape is best. 

And a pretty card of Sardine cans from Portugal.

 Beatriz collects stamps, postcards, ice cream spoons,

 packages of chocolate and coins.

I am a collector myself and I love the

idea of collecting packages of chocolate! 

 I'm tempted to do this myself, 

but I have to watch my figure!

Deze week weer een Happy Mailbox!!!!

Wang Yuwei uit China is 14 jaar en heeft me een leuke kaart gestuurd.

 Het is een kaart van de Beijing Opera. 

Een ansichtkaart van de Taipei 101 uit Taiwan. Het 2de hoogste gebouw van de wereld.

Linching schrijft dat ze van snailmailing houdt en van het sturen van pakjes naar haar penpals. 

Ze houdt ook van reizen en Europa. 

Uit Oekraine, van Svitlana, de leuke kaart van kunstenaar Julia Pilipchatina,

 in mijn favoriete kleur.

Cynthia uit China stuurt een kaart van Guilin landschap. 

En een grappige kaart van Sardines blikjes uit Portugal.

 Beatriz verzameld postzegels, ansichtkaarten, ijslepels,

verpakkingen van chocolade en  munten.

Ik verzamel zelf ook graag en het idee

van de verpakkingen van chocolade sparen

vind ik erg leuk. Ik kom in de verleiding om dit zelf ook te doen,

maar ik moet op de lijn letten!!

Er zijn ook weer vijf kaarten onderweg. Naar Nederland, Duitsland, Polen, Canada en China.

This past week I received some cards in my mailbox!

A card from Belarus from Nastya. A 17- year-old student from Minsk.

A card with shells. I like shells very much.

 This nice card is from Valentina from Russia.

 She writes the following quote on her card "Let luck never leaves you"

 I  love this quote.

Another nice Christmas card from Russia. From Tatiana.

And, last but not least, a funny card from Belgium.

 Ruth says : " Have fun with your creative projects ".

The card says: With naughty shoes you stand excellent/outstanding?

De afgelopen week heb ik weer een aantal kaarten in mijn brievenbus ontvangen!

Een kaart uit Belarus van Nastya. Een 17 jarige studente uit Minsk.

Een kaart met schelpen. Ik hou enorm van schelpen.  Een leuke kaart van Valentina uit Rusland. Zij schrijft de volgende quote op haar kaart "Let luck never leaves you".  Wat een lieve quote.

Nog een verlaat kerstkaartje uit Rusland. Van Tatiana.

En, last but not least, een grappige kaart uit Belgie.  Ruth zegt: "Veel plezier met je creatieve projectjes!". 

I've also done a number of cards on the bus this week. To Germany,

 USA, Netherlands, Ukraine and Finland.

It may seem a little crazy to send a card with Swiss mountains,

 but this Post Crosser would like to receive cards with rock formations .

 Well , as  the Netherlands are as flat as a board, I  decided to send this holiday card.

Ik heb deze week zelf ook weer een aantal kaarten op de bus gedaan.

 Naar Duitsland, U.S.A., Nederland, Oekraine en Finland.

Het lijkt misschien een beetje gek om een kaart met Zwitserse bergen te versturen,

 maar deze Postcrosser wilde graag kaarten ontvangen met rotsformaties. Nou,

 met een land  zo plat als een dubbeltje  heb ik dus maar besloten

 om deze vakantiekaart te versturen.

Deze mooie postzegels heb ik gekocht via  www.postzegelsmetkorting.nl.

 Zij combineren oude Euro-postzegels tot het tarief dat je nodig hebt.

 Deze postzegels kun je nog steeds gebruiken.

 Ook doen zijn er voor internationale post een Priority sticker bij.

 En... je krijgt  altijd 10 procent korting.

Toch veel leuker dan die saaie postzegels die ze in de supermarkt verkopen??

Last week, three more cards found in my mailbox via postcrossing.

Ingrid from Noordwijk sent me this really nice card with an image of  a pigeon.

There is a matching postage stamp of a pigeon on the back. Very nice.

This card is an image of an outdoor sculpture by Atelier Van Lieshout

 at the Indianapolis Museum of Art (United States). 

It is called "Funky Bones".

Krissy writes that she  likes to sit on it and enjoy a picnic.

This card comes from Ann from Belarus.

 It is the Mir Castle and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Afgelopen week weer drie kaartjes via postcrossing in mijn brievenbus gevonden.

Ingrid uit Noordwijk stuurde mij de hele leuke kaart,

 met een afbeelding van de duif van  het  leesplankje.  

Er zit een bijpassende postzegel op van een duif. Heel leuk.

De tweede kaart is een afbeelding van een kunstwerk van Atelier Van Lieshout

 in het Indianapolis Museum of Art (Verenigde Staten).

Krissy schrijft dat zij er graag op zit en daar  picknickt.

De derde kaart komt van Ann uit Wit Rusland.

 Het is het Mir Kasteel en staat op de Unesco Werelderfgoedlijst.
